As we can see around the world, maintaining and defending democratic systems requires continuous hard work, at home and abroad. Especially now in Europe, the importance of actively defending our democracies is all the clearer, now that they are under threat. I am convinced that we should do whatever it takes to protect our democracies, as it is at the very core of all we believe in!
